Meg R. Peacocke (born 1930 Budleigh Salterton, Devon) is a British poet.

She was sent to boarding school at Cheltenham Ladies' College in 1942. She graduated from St. Anne's College, Oxford, 1948.
She taught as an English teacher in Ankara, Turkey. She is the sister of the composer, Sir Richard Rodney Bennett. She married Gerald Peacocke; they had two sons and two daughters.[1]
